ASAP2 Virtual Switching

NVIDIA Accelerated Switch and Packet Processing (ASAP2®) technology is designed to offload vSwitch/vRouter tasks by handling the dataplane processes in the NIC hardware. As a result, significantly higher performance is achievable without the associated CPU load.

Block-Level Encryption

The innovative security hardware engines of the ConnectX offload IPsec, TLS and offer IEEE AES-XTS inline encryption/decryption services to reduce latency and save on CPU utilization. This protection enables secure network connectivity in modern data-center environments.

Socket Direct™

The NVIDIA Socket Direct® technology enables direct PCIe access to multiple CPU sockets, eliminating network traffic having to traverse the inter-process bus and optimizing overall system performance.

GPUDirect

GPUDirect® technology enables RDMA for all CPU/GPU pairs by ensuring that GPUs are linked to the CPUs closest to the adapter card. This provides a significant decrease in GPU-GPU communication latency and completely offloads the CPU from GPU-GPU communication.
