Tae Eun Choe

Tae Eun Choe is a distinguished engineer at NVIDIA. He earned his PhD in Computer Science at University of Southern California in 2007. He joined ObjectVideo and led multiple projects such as Automatic Scene Understanding and Mathematics of Sensing, Exploitation, and Execution. In 2016, he moved to Tesla, developing and deploying an online calibration algorithm and perception neural networks. In 2017, he led a perception team at Apollo, the open autonomous driving platform under development by Baidu USA. Since 2019, he has been working on improving perception of autonomous driving using synthetic and real data at NVIDIA.
