Nathan Morrical

Nate Morrical is a Ph.D. student at the University of Utah, intern alumni from the NVIDIA OptiX team and Pixar’s RenderMan group and a current member of the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI). His research interests include high-performance ray-tracing frameworks and computing, scientific data visualization, computational geometry, and real-time ray tracing. Before joining SCI, Nate received his B.S. in computer science from Idaho State University, where he researched interactive computer graphics and computational geometry.
