Eric Boernert is a product manager for the Federated Open Science team at Roche, where he leads the global development and adoption of privacy-preserving federated computing capabilities. He and his team are responsible for productionizing federation at scale providing the ability to access more diverse data for building robust and reliable models in real world healthcare settings. Eric and his team are passionate about breaking barriers to health data to drive scientific progress and advance the clinical understanding of underlying disease activity and progression.
