Cristiana Dinea

Cristiana Dinea is a senior software engineer at NVIDIA, where she works on the Holoscan SDK, with a focus on sensor processing, real-time AI pipelines, and healthcare application development. She is also a PhD candidate in Machine Learning at Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania, where her research focuses on automated ameloblastoma segmentation using learned shape priors and level-set methods on panoramic dental X-rays and CBCT imaging. She holds both an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. from Politehnica University of Timisoara and received First Prize at the International Congress of Medicine for Students and Young Doctors in 2010. Before joining NVIDIA, she developed and implemented GPU-accelerated algorithms for pedestrian dynamics and large-scale crowd simulation for Frankfurt Airport.
