Steven Butrimas

Steve is a senior sensor software engineer at NVIDIA, focusing on the non-visual sensor domain to bridge the gap between simulation fidelity and real-world phenomenology. He has worked in visual and non-visual sensor simulation, spanning both commercial and military sectors, for more than 20 years. Steve’s experience spans sensor systems such as electrooptical, low-light TV, night vision, shortwave/midwave/longwave infrared cameras, as well as radar and lidar systems. He holds a PhD in optical sciences from the University of Central Florida.
