Bob Knight is a principal system software engineer on the developer tools team at NVIDIA, working on the system profile, Nsight Systems, for x86 Linux systems. He’s worked on performance and power analysis tools for more than 20 years at Intel and NVIDIA. He enjoys the challenge of trying to understand how ‘the dots connect’ while striving to make tools invisible to the system so they do not perturb the workload.
