Pawel Kozlowski

Pawel Kozlowski is a principal developer technology engineer in the Developer and Performance Technology group at NVIDIA. With over a decade of experience in real-time computer graphics, Pawel has contributed to significant advancements in the gaming industry. He was among the first to integrate real-time ray tracing into AAA games, with his work on Battlefield V marking a notable achievement. Since then, Pawel has contributed to many other games and engines in the real-time ray tracing space such as Cyberpunk 2077, the Call of Duty series, Minecraft, and Unreal Engine. Pawel values the transformative power of technology and advocates for the future of real-time graphics through real-time path tracing powered by AI and ReSTIR-like sampling algorithms. His academic background includes a PhD from the University of Oslo, Norway, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Warsaw, Poland.
