Peter Harrington is a senior scientific software engineer for Earth-2 at NVIDIA, specializing in machine learning for weather and climate forecasting. His interests include scalable AI model training, applied AI in the physical sciences, and their intersection with HPC and GPU-based computing. Before NVIDIA, Peter worked at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory on scientific AI and HPC research. He holds a master’s degree in scientific computing & applied mathematics from UC Santa Cruz.
