Dr. Paraskevas Bakopoulos leads the Photonic Systems team within the Data Center group at NVIDIA. His research interests extend to a broad range of photonics-enabled technologies that bring added value to HPC and data center networks, with main focus on high-speed optical interconnects and optical switching. He has more than 150 journal publications and conference presentations and holds 25 patents in the fields of photonics and data center networks. He has served as a TPC member at OFC and currently sits on the Photonics 21 Board of Stakeholders.
