Miguel Ferrer Avila joined NVIDIA as a Software Engineer in the cuFFT library in 2019, where his focus is developing high-performance solutions to solve Fourier Transforms. Prior to that, he received his master's degree in Computational Geosciences from Stanford University and worked as a Research Engineer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, doing applied research on geophysical imaging. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and the game trifecta: video, board, and role-playing.
