Luca Pegolotti

Luca Pegolotti is a postdoctoral researcher in Pediatrics (Cardiology) at Stanford University in the group led by Professor Alison L. Marsden, specializing in scientific computing and machine learning. His work focuses on applying modern data-driven techniques, such as projection-based approaches and graph-neural networks, to speed up cardiovascular simulations. Luca obtained a B.S. in Mathematical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, a M.Sc. in Computational Science and Engineering at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at EPFL.
