Kuhu Shukla is a Senior Software Engineer at NVIDIA on the Spark-GPU team. Before that she was on the Hadoop Core team at Yahoo! working on big data platforms like Apache Tez, YARN, and HDFS in Champaign, Illinois. She is PMC for the Apache Tez project. She did her Masters in Computer Science at North Carolina State University. She likes to participate in open source conferences and women-in-tech events and has been a speaker at Grace Hopper Conference 2020. In her spare time, she loves singing Indian classical, whale watching, hiking, and peering through her Dobsonian telescope.
