John Stone

John Stone is a senior research programmer at the NIH Center for Macromolecular Modeling and Bioinformatics at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He leads the development of the VMD molecular visualization software and oversees GPU algorithm and systems design in other software tools developed at the Center. Mr. Stone was awarded as an NVIDIA CUDA Fellow in 2010.
