Iretiayo Akinola

Iretiayo Akinola is a senior research scientist at NVIDIA, where he focuses on developing accelerated simulators for robot learning across diverse sensory modalities and applying sim-to-real techniques to transfer policies from simulation to real-world robotic systems. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Columbia University, where his research centered on enhancing robots with multi-modal perception (visual and tactile) to improve self-awareness, reactive object manipulation, and human-robot interaction.
