Mark Ren

Haoxing Ren (Mark) leads the Design Automation research group at NVIDIA Research. His research interests focus on AI for EDA and GPU-accelerated EDA. Before joining NVIDIA in 2016, he spent 15 years working at IBM Microelectronics and IBM Research developing EDA tools and methodologies. He has received multiple awards, including IBM Corporate Award and best paper awards at ISPD, DAC and TCAD, MLCAD for his works in physical design and AI for EDA. He earned a BS and MS from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a PhD from University of Texas at Austin.
