Daniel Korzekwa holds an M.Sc. in computer science from the Silesian University of Technology (2003) and a Ph.D. in machine learning for speech processing from the Gdańsk University of Technology (2023). In 1998, he started his career at the Polish IT company Wasko, creating large-scale distributed systems based on Java/Oracle technologies in the telecommunications, gas, and medical industries. In 2008, he moved to Betfair, a betting exchange company in the UK, where he researched and developed probabilistic machine learning techniques to predict betting patterns and outcomes of sporting events. Daniel led TTS teams at Amazon from 2016 to 2022. He is currently at NVIDIA researching and developing new deep learning models for conversational AI (TTS, ASR, NLP/LLM) and bringing them into production.
