Cédric Augonnet

Cédric Augonnet is a senior research scientist in the Programming Systems and Applications research team at NVIDIA. His area of expertise lies in asynchronous programming models for accelerator-based machines, such as the StarPU runtime system, which he designed during his Ph.D. thesis at the University of Bordeaux/INRIA. He was previously with CEA, where he designed scalable programming systems to implement complex physics codes over supercomputers. Cédric pursued his studies in fundamental computer sciences at the École normale supérieure de Lyon and the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
