Aviv Barnea

Aviv Barnea is senior director of software engineering for Networking at NVIDIA. He oversees the development of network adapter RDMA software and congestion-control mechanisms, enabling high-speed, low-latency data center connectivity. An expert in RDMA and RoCE communication protocols, with multiple patents issued in the area, Aviv has been instrumental in advancing RDMA/RoCE in the industry, working closely with customers and partners as they deploy accelerated networking solutions at massive scale, and enabling unparallel performance and ease-of-use. Aviv holds an MBA from Tel-Aviv university and BSc’s in physics and electrical-engineering from the Technion IIT.
