Andres Diaz-Pinto is an applied AI scientist at NVIDIA, where he specializes in AI applications for healthcare. His research interests encompass AI-driven medical image analysis and the development of digital twin simulations within NVIDIA Omniverse. He is also a co-creator of MONAI Label, an open-source framework designed to facilitate AI-assisted interactive labeling of three-dimensional medical images. Andres holds a PhD in Computer Vision and Deep Learning from Universitat Politècnica de València in Spain, and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia.
