We are proud to offer the NVIDIA Graphics SDK 11 in two versions, one supporting Direct3D, the other supporting OpenGL
NVIDIA Graphics SDK 11
This all-new collection of DirectX 11 code samples teaches developers how to make the most of the latest GeForce GPUs. The SDK includes a browser, clear code samples, detailed whitepapers, and videos.
Featured samples include: 3D Vision, hair, FXAA, horizon-based ambient occlusion, stochastic transparency, terrain tessellation, opacity mapping, FFT ocean rendering, and more.
You can look at the Direct3D SDK Samples in two ways
- Download the complete Direct3D SDK 11.0 Installer (532 MB), or
- See our complete catalog of individial Direct3D samples, including whitepapers and videos
Older Versions of the NVIDIA Graphics SDK
Previous versions of our award-winning SDK are also available separately here
- SDK 10.6 (Direct3D Version)(OpenGL Version)
- SDK 9.52

shitted OFF where is OPENGL SDK11 ???????? AIM no other .........wtf......needed this at's all .................................
It's really a shame such a compagny like Nvidia do not release this OpenGL SDK. It's not only the technologies (CUDA or PhysX) that make Nvidia famous! There's also some "non directly lucrative" aspects such linux drivers or openGL interest!
I begin to think about "red flag products"!
i am using the GTX460 graphic card it is jurcky (Shaking) the video playing picture i use the live mixer hdmi out has display jurcky (Shaking) now i am use SDK 11 after i inform the future
I don't really get it either!!!! For over a year nVidia have been announced the OpenGL SDK 11 to be out "soon". nVidia then decided to skip the "soon" part and deleted all comments that were complaining about the delay of the SDK. It is very frustrating when you are writing: "We are proud to offer the NVIDIA Graphics SDK 11 in two versions, one supporting Direct3D, the other supporting OpenGL" but where is the OpenGL SDK???? I have been able to get the DirectX SDK version for a very long time now but WHERE IS THE OPENGL SDK???? This is getting very ridiculous!
WHERE IS OPENGL SDK11 ????????????? no links no files no patches ?????????????
Now it completely removed from "soon"!!!!!
I want OpenGL SDK, instead investing in NV specific "accelerated path rendering" invest in the SDK or making GL runtime debug-able as DX or better driver support....
I am wondering why first NVIDIA needs about one year to realize they are not gonna release the OpenGL SDK and second why they don't create one... A little more offical background might be nice! NVIDIA clearly has the resources to release stunning SDKs to show off their latest technology and just focusing on DirectX in times where OpenGL gains more and more ground (mobile devices, browsers, etc.) is a little disappointing!
Also I am wondering if this means that NVIDIA silently has given up on OpenGL or if they just don't want to take the trouble of creating an SDK...
NVIDIA fully supports the OpenGL standard, and will continue to offer software and hardware that supports the standard. As part of our content reorganization, we are reassessing where to place the current OpenGL SDK and where we will post future samples that supplement the OpenGL SDK. You can still find the latest OpenGL SDK here.
I just wish Opengl/GLSL got as much support as DirectX/HLSL gets.
Offering Visual Studio 2010 project files would be very helpful.
Island: render.cpp maybe 2D Index can't be used in 1D array,his width is terrain_grid_points
+ 1 for [0,terrain_grid_points]
FFTOcean : maybe we have to get conjugate complex number before FFT (actually DIF)
But I can't find something difference between these two cases
It is a little difficult to decipher some of the more complex samples, like global illumination, since there are no code comments at all.
I've been working with Gregory patches since July 2010 using the nvmeshtools project as a base.
