mNAND Libraries

mNAND utilities such as mNAND health and status utility (mnand_hs) and mNAND refresh utility (mnand_rfsh) depend on the mNAND libraries.

The mNAND libraries provide the basic functionalities for eMMC and UFS that are used by various mNAND utilities. The mNAND library provided by NVIDIA (nvmnand libraries) supports a specific list of eMMC and UFS vendor parts that are verified and supported by NVIDA.

To add a new vendor eMMC/UFS part or part that is not supported, hooks are provided in the nvmnand library and are described later in this chapter.
