Zhi (Jackie) Yao

Zhi (Jackie) Yao is a research scientist in the computational research division at the Center for Computational Sciences and Engineering at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). Her research interests include microelectronic and quantum device/circuit modeling and electromagnetism, and she applies her interdisciplinary training to investigate the co‑design of novel electronics. Her honors include LBNL's 2023 Director's Award for Exceptional Achievement (Early Scientific Career), the 2019 Luis W. Alvarez postdoctoral fellowship, first place in the 2017 IEEE IMS Best Student Paper Competition, and the 2015 Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship.
