Starr Long

Starr Long has been in the business of making games and interactive technology for 30+ years. He was the original project director for the longest-running MMO in history, Ultima Online, working alongside Richard Garriott, the creator of the Ultima series. Starr worked his way up through the ranks of Origin Systems, starting in quality assurance on Wing Commander, Ultima, and many other titles. After Origin, he co-founded Destination Games which was acquired by NCsoft where he produced Tabula Rasa. Starr then worked for The Walt Disney Company on a series of learning projects and Club Penguin. After Disney, Starr rejoined Richard Garriot to executive produce the second-highest-shipping, crowd-funded video game ever: Shroud of the Avatar, at Portalarium. Starr currently works at The Acceleration Agency whose clients include Carnival Corporation, College Possible, Disney, Universal, and Secret Cinema.
