Riccardo Mariani

Riccardo Mariani is Head of Industry Safety at NVIDIA, where he drives NVIDIA Halos initiative and NVIDIA Technical Compliance and Certification (TCC) team. He develops cohesive safety strategies, architecture, and products for NVIDIA's AI-based hardware and software platforms. Riccardo holds leadership roles in international standardization, including convenor of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42/JWG 4 on AI and functional safety and co-convenor of IEC 61508e. He is the recipient of the 2021 Ron Waxman DASC Meritorious Service Award as also IEEE TCHS Outstanding Leadership Award and IEC 1906 award.
