Peter is a member of technical staff at OpenAI, and Triton compiler developer. Prior to joining OpenAI, he was a staff software engineer at Quansight and a PyTorch core maintainer with a focus on torch.compile. Peter holds an M.Sc. degree in computational physics from the University of Edinburgh.
