Maryam Najafian

Maryam Najafian is a principal software engineer and agentic AI technical lead at NVIDIA. She contributes to open-source projects including NeMo Relay, NeMo Agent Toolkit, NeMo Fabric, and NemoClaw. She has more than 15 years of experience bringing AI research into production across agents, language models, speech recognition, computer vision, and responsible AI, and has more than 50 publications and patents. Previously, she conducted research at MIT IDSS and MIT CSAIL and earned a PhD from the University of Birmingham.
