Maddegedara Lalith

Maddegedara Lalith received the BE degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 1999, and the ME and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2000, and 2005, respectively. He is currently an associate professor with the Earthquake Research Institute, Department of Civil Engineering, The University of Tokyo. His research interests include HPC, agent-based modeling, large-scale simulations of crack propagation phenomena, and integrated simulations of earthquake disasters and their aftermath.
