Carter Edwards

Carter Edwards has been a CUDA architect since joining NVIDIA in 2018. Before NVIDIA, Carter researched and developed high performance computing code and algorithms for 20 years at Sandia National Laboratories. While at Sandia, he initiated and led the Kokkos performance portability programming model project. Prior to Sandia, Carter began his career with 10 years of orbital spacecraft design, modeling, and simulation for NASA. Carter holds bachelor of science and master of science degrees in aerospace engineering and a PhD in computational and applied mathematics.
