Christopher Shulby is currently director of machine learning at DefinedCrowd. He holds a PhD in computer science from the University of São Paulo in the area of acoustic modeling and a graduate of the Ohio State University. Since 2007, he has held positions as researcher at Samsung, CPqD, Vocalize Speech Solutions, and the Ohio State University. He is passionate about building great corpora, laboratory phonetics and acoustics, machine learning, and statistical learning theory.
