Alberto Carpentieri is currently an intern at NVIDIA in Zurich, contributing to the Earth-2 project. He is also pursuing a PhD at ETH Zurich, where his research lies at the intersection of machine learning and weather forecasting. Alberto holds a degree in Data Science from the Mathematics Department of the University of Padova. His doctoral research is dedicated to advancing short-term forecasting of surface solar irradiance, aiming to boost the photovoltaic energy share in the power grid and tackle climate change.
