APEX Clothing Maya Tutorials
This tutorial explains how to simulate a trench coat that has thickness to it. Thick cloth is made up of two surfaces, and inner and an outer that together form thick cloth. This is referred to as the Latch to Nearest feature in Apex. This tutorial provides step by step instructions on how to export clothing to the Unreal 3 engine. (Tutorial Files) Prerequisite: Trench Coat Medium Tutorial, Knowledge of UE3. Maya 2.6 clothing plug-in and at least the 2011 October release of UE3 (APEX 1.0). Note: The 2.7 Maya clothing plug-in (APEX 1.1) won't work with the Unreal 3 (October release).
