Gilles Daviet

Gilles Daviet is a research scientist with the NVIDIA High-Fidelity Physics Research team, developing accelerated simulation techniques at the intersection of computer-aided engineering, graphics, and machine learning, and a contributor to the Newton physics engine for robotics. Prior to joining NVIDIA in 2021, Gilles spent multiple years in the VFX industry, working on physics-based animation of virtual characters and their environments. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and applied mathematics from Grenoble Alpes University.
