Debug Info#

Provide the following information for debugging any audio issue:

  • Clock details:

#cat /sys/kernel/debug/bpmp/debug/clk/clk_tree

  • ALSA mixer control settings:

#amixer -c 0 contents

  • Audio Sever and VM logs:

    • Use tcu_muxer to retrieve the server and VM logs. For guidance, refer to the Tegra Combined UART and the tcu_muxer Utility. To identify the serial port, check the entry listed next to “audio_server_native” for audio server logs and “VM” for VM logs.

    • Audio Server boot logs for reference

      HVRTOS audio server init start
HVRTOS audio server init done
Audio Server <-> BPMP IVC Queue Init Success

  • Server PCT and DT files and Kernel DT file.

  • Sound card details:

#cat /proc/asound/cards
#aplay -l

  • Pinmux dump:
