Autodesk, 3ds Max & Alias
Plug-in for Autodesk 3ds Max enables support for NVIDIA PhysX SDK for artists using Autodesk® 3ds Max®. This is one of the most popular 3D tools for multimedia development. This closely integrated plug-in functionality will be combined with export capability, which enables 3ds Max artists to easily export physics-rich characters and environments into runtime game applications.
With NVIDIA's PhysX Technology plug-in, artists can incorporate software physics effects and hardware-accelerated realism into game action in an intuitive, graphical way - without requiring the intervention of programmers.
3ds Max
3ds Max software is the most popular 3D tool for game development with consistent delivery of high-quality results. As content becomes more complex and workflow and creative management prove more challenging, companies look not only to the market-proven 3ds Max modeling, animation and rendering toolset, but also to Autodesk's commitment to providing solid cost of ownership benefits through engineering advancements, re-investment in R&D, and progressive subscription service advantages.
SOFTIMAGE
Artists have created some of the most memorable game characters using SOFTIMAGE and their real-time interactivity will increase by taking advantage of NVIDIA's state-of-the-art physics simulation engine for rigid body dynamics and high-precision actual-shape collision handling.
SOFTIMAGE is a complete 3-D modeling and animation solution for the film, broadcast, post-production and interactive entertainment industries. It is the industry's first 3-D nonlinear production environment providing artists the freedom to make professional computer graphics, 3-D animation, and visual effects - from major motion pictures to CG features and commercials, to video games. Softimage is proud to count amongst its customers: Lionhead Studios, Ubisoft, Capcom, Konami, SONY, Valve, Pandemic, Taito, Sega and Atari.

Plug-in for Autodesk 3ds Max COLLADA
(COLLAborative Design Activity) Plug-in for Autodesk 3ds Max continues its continued support for physics standardization by its contributions to the COLLADA digital asset exchange schema. NVIDIA is helping to define COLLADA physics, providing a standardized way for physics to be implemented into a variety of game development environments using a variety of creative tools.
COLLADA (COLLAborative Design Activity) is supported by major tools vendors such as Alias, Avid and Discreet, as well as other significant third-party tools vendors and 3D graphics board manufacturers. The goal of COLLADA is to establish an open standard digital asset schema for interactive 3D applications. Originally created by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., COLLADA has earned broad support among game developers.

Emergent
NVIDIA Technologies is the first company to join Emergent Game Technologies’ partner program. The new partner program puts even more power, choice and creative control in developer’s hands by integrating industry-leading middleware technology in a complete single source development framework.

ThinkingParticles 2.5
The new 2.5 release shows why ThinkingParticles is the world's most powerful rule based particle system for 3ds max. cebas continues to listen to users and make improvements available – at no charge to users – to an already robust product. ThinkingParticles 2.5 gives users unprecedented value for 3ds Max and VIZ.
Many new options have been added to support the rigid body dynamics features provided in the NVIDIA PhysX engine. ThinkingParticles 2.5 supports the latest PhysX SDK for Rigid Body dynamics and future hardware acceleration on systems enabled by the NVIDIA PhysX Processor.
"The incorporation of NVIDIA PhysX into the ThinkingParticles 2.5 product release is a terrific and natural extension of our leading edge physics software and hardware technology," Said Manju Hegde, CEO at NVIDIA. "Now the power of PhysX will be helping enable true Newtonian physics in one of the film industry's leading special effect tools.

Unity
Unity is a Mac OS X based game editor and engine that allows Mac executables, Windows executables, and browser versions to be created in a single action.Unity makes it easy to use the features of NVIDIA PhysX, and developers can automatically make physical effects expand massively in the presence of an NVIDIA PhysX processor.
