Developers using Unreal Engine 4.26+ can integrate DLSS as a plugin, available through the Unreal Engine Marketplace.
NVIDIA set out to redefine real-time rendering through AI-based super resolution - rendering fewer pixels and then using AI to construct sharp, higher resolution images. Powered by dedicated AI processors on GeForce RTX GPUs called Tensor Cores, DLSS is a deep learning neural network that boosts frame rates while generating beautiful, crisp game images

Key Features and Components
- Superior Image Quality - DLSS offers image quality equivalent to or in some cases exceeding native resolution while rendering as low as a quarter of the pixels. It employs new temporal accumulation techniques for sharper image details and improved stability from frame to frame.
- Great Scaling Across All RTX GPUs and Resolutions - A fast AI model efficiently uses Tensor Cores to improve frame rates and remove restrictions on supported GPUs, settings, and resolutions.
- One Network for All Games and Applications - DLSS offers a generalized AI network that removes the need to train for each specific game or application.
How to apply for access to DLSS
- Review and accept the license agreement below (click the checkbox to accept the agreement).
- Click on the "Join Now" button and fill out the application survey.
- Once approved, you will receive a unique Application ID and access to the DLSS repositories.
- With the Application ID integrated, you will be able to use the test DLSS DLL to validate the integration.
- Once you are ready to release your application or game, contact NVIDIA at DLSSfirstname.lastname@example.org to receive a production DLSS DLL.
