NVIDIA nvCOMP introduces nvCOMPDx, device-side API extensions for performing compression and decompression inside your CUDA kernel. By exposing several algorithms in nvCOMPDx, users can strike the right balance between compression/decompression throughput, reducing memory footprint, and improving the overall performance.
