Getting Started#
Hardware Requirements#
Please see the NVIDIA DriveOS Installation Guide for the latest hardware requirements of NVIDIA® DriveOS™ and NVIDIA DriveWorks.
Note
An NVIDIA graphics card is required for running the NVIDIA DriveWorks sample applications on a host system Linux x86, but not if the host system is used solely to compile or cross-compile samples or to flash NVIDIA DriveOS onto the NVIDIA DRIVE® AGX™ Thor target system Linux or QNX aarch64.
Installing Core and Sample Binaries and Compiling or Cross-Compiling Samples From Source#
Depending on how you installed NVIDIA DriveOS, there are two supported methods for installing and running the NVIDIA DriveWorks core binaries, its sample application binaries, and compiling or cross-compiling the sample applications from source:
If you used the NVIDIA DriveOS Docker image to install NVIDIA DriveOS, please see Getting Started Using the NVIDIA DriveOS Docker Container.
If you used the NVIDIA DriveOS package repository to install NVIDIA DriveOS, please see Getting Started Using the NVIDIA DriveOS Package Repository.
Warning
Building NVIDIA DriveWorks as a Yocto Project-based component is not supported. Please use one of the above methods to install NVIDIA DriveOS and NVIDIA DriveWorks instead.
Verification of the File System Layout#
For instructions on verifying the file system layout on an existing NVIDIA DriveWorks installation, please see Verifying the NVIDIA DriveWorks Installation.
