To set the $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR directory manually

• Execute the following:

mkdir /tmp/xdgruntime
chmod 700 /tmp/xdgruntime
export XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/tmp/xdgruntime

At runtime, /tmp/xdgruntime looks like:

root@nvidia:/# ls -lt /tmp/xdgruntime
total 0
srwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 May 12 11:31 wayland-0
-rw-r----- 1 root root 0 May 12 11:31 wayland-0.lock
