We'll talk about the benefits of GPU technology for modeling fluid-structure interaction problems. We will compare single-GPU and multi-GPU processing for a water-impact scenario to show the robust nature of GPU computing. We'll also describe how we used an SPH Solver, a particle-based method, to model the fluid and a nonlinear explicit-transient dynamic finite-element solver to perform the calculations. We will also share timing results for a range of Quadro GPUs, including the GV100 with NVLINK.
