OpenCV for Tegra 2.4.12.3 Release Notes

OpenCV for Tegra 2.4.12.3
=========================

FIXED ISSUES

- Fixed conflicts between OpenCV for Tegra packages and standard libopencv-dev meta
  package. Since 2.4.12.3 OpenCV for Tegra smoothly replaces libopencv-dev
  package with its dependencies. As with previous versions, OpenCV for Tegra
  2.4.12.3 does not provide the ocl or java modules.
- Added missing copyright headers to source files.
- Fixed minor Debian package issues reported by lintian tool.

OpenCV for Tegra 2.4.12.2
=========================

FIXED ISSUES

- Fixed bunch of memory leaks and memory access violations across entire library.
- Fixed memory access violation issue in gpu::StereoBeliefPropogation.
- Fixed all known package conflicts. Since 2.4.12.2 ROS-indigo-full can be installed
  with OpenCV for Tegra without package conflicts. But pay attention, that packages
  that depend on a specific version of OpenCV (e.g., list a dependency with the format
  "libopencv-blah2.4 (>= 2.4.X)" rather than simply "libopencv-blah2.4")
  will not be compatible with OpenCV for Tegra.

OpenCV for Tegra 2.4.12.1
=========================

In 2.4.12.1, OpenCV for Tegra is compatible with other packages on Ubuntu that depend
on the following OpenCV modules:

* libopencv-calib3d2.4
* libopencv-contrib2.4
* libopencv-core2.4
* libopencv-features2d2.4
* libopencv-flann2.4
* libopencv-gpu2.4
* libopencv-imgproc2.4
* libopencv-ml2.4
* libopencv-ocl2.4
* libopencv-stitching2.4
* libopencv-ts2.4
* libopencv-videostab2.4

It's NOT compatible with other packages that depend on any of the following:

* libopencv-highgui2.4
* libopencv-legacy2.4
* libopencv-objdetect2.4
* libopencv-photo2.4
* libopencv-superres2.4
* libopencv-video2.4

The above package conflicts will be resolved in a future release.

Though packages that depend on libopencv-ocl2.4 will not show a conflict during
installation, libopencv-ocl2.4 is not actually included in OpenCV for Tegra.

Packages that depend on a specific version of OpenCV (e.g., list a dependency with
the format "libopencv-blah2.4 (>= 2.4.X)" rather than simply "libopencv-blah2.4")
will not be compatible with OpenCV for Tegra.

The following ROS packages are known to conflict with OpenCV for Tegra at this time
(will be resolved in a future release):

* ros-indigo-compressed-depth-image-transport
* ros-indigo-compressed-image-transport
* ros-indigo-desktop-full
* ros-indigo-gazebo-plugins
* ros-indigo-gazebo-ros
* ros-indigo-gazebo-ros-pkgs
* ros-indigo-image-pipeline
* ros-indigo-image-transport-plugins
* ros-indigo-image-view
* ros-indigo-perception
* ros-indigo-simulators
