Hardware Prerequisites

The following hardware is required:

• Host System: An x86 computer with a NVIDIA® Volta™, Turing™, or Ampere based graphics processing unit (GPU).

The following hardware is optional, but strongly recommended:

• Target System: NVIDIA DRIVE® Orin™ SoC (system on a chip).

Installing Core and Sample Binaries and Compiling or Cross-Compiling Samples From Source

Depending on how you installed the NVIDIA DRIVE SDK, there are two methods for installing the NVIDIA DriveWorks SDK core binaries, its sample application binaries, and compiling or cross-compiling the sample applications from source:

• If you followed the "NVIDIA DRIVE SDK NGC Docker Container Installation Guide" to install the NVIDIA DRIVE SDK, please see Getting Started Using the NVIDIA DRIVE SDK NGC Docker Container.
• If you used the "NVIDIA DRIVE SDK Debian Package Installation Guide" to install the NVIDIA DRIVE SDK, please see Getting Started Using the NVIDIA DRIVE OS SDK Debian Package Repository.
