1 – NVIDIA Announces Nsight Graphics 2018.7

This week, we rolled out Nsight Graphics 2018.7. In this release, we enhanced our Ray Tracing support by adding the ability to view the scene Bounding Volume Hierarchy: the standardized acceleration structure in realtime ray tracing. We also greatly improved the ability to serialize C++ Captures of DirectX Raytracing (DXR) applications, increased Vulkan debugging capabilities with the addition of Vulkan Pixel History, and made assessing GPU activity easier in GPU Trace with a new GPU Busy indicator.

2 – Game Ready Driver adds DLSS beta support for FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION XV

Our latest GeForce Game Ready driver readies GeForce RTX gamers for a new Steam update for FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION XV. The massive action RPG is adding support for the NVIDIA DLSS beta to the full game, enabling players to achieve 60 FPS on GeForce RTX 2080 Ti at 4K with max quality settings.

3 – Introduction to DirectX Ray Tracing

This course is an introduction to Microsoft’s DirectX Raytracing API suitable for students, faculty, rendering engineers, and industry researchers. The first half focuses on ray tracing basics and incremental, open-source shader tutorials accessible for novices. It’s the definitive guide to getting started using this incredible technology. The video delivers more than 3 hours of training from several of the most experienced ray tracing engineers and researchers on the planet.
