Hang Dou

Hang is a tech lead and engineer manager in NVIDIA’s Autonomous Vehicle Perception team. He led the development of wait condition system (rules of the road, semantic understanding of signs, lights, intersection area, roadmarks, etc.) and is now leading the development of generic camera tracking of dynamic objects (vehicles, pedestrians, etc) and static objects (free drive space, etc). Hang obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, supervised by Prof. Tao Ju. Hang's working areas cover computer graphics, computer vision, and deep learning, with particular interests in geometry, rendering, detection, and classification.
