Parallel Nsight supports 5 flexible hardware configurations:

  • Single GPU System: PU developers doing exclusively performance work, or graphics developers focused on API level frame debugging and profiling.
  • Dual GPU System: The recommended single machine configuration for a GPGPU developer. This configuration supports both the Parallel Nsight CUDA C/C++ Debugger and Analyzer.
  • Two systems, each with one GPU: The recommended configuration for graphics developers who need the additional power of the Direct3D Shader Debugger, or developers doing both GPGPU and graphics tasks. Supports every GPGPU and graphics debugging, profiling and analysis feature of Parallel Nsight.
  • Notebook equipped with NVIDIA Optimus technology: The recommended single notebook machine configuration for a GPGPU developer. This configuration supports both the Parallel Nsight CUDA C/C++ Debugger and Analyzer using NVIDIA Optimus technology.
  • Dual GPU System with SLI MultiOS: The single machine configuration for both GPGPU and graphics developers. Supports every GPGPU and graphics debugging, profiling and analysis feature of Parallel Nsight using SLI MultiOS GPU virtualization technlogy.
