DX10, Batching, and Performance Considerations

Direct3D10 (DX10) improves upon all aspects of DX9 and introduces new opportunities to improve graphics performance and reduce CPU load. Instancing in particular has been vastly improved and generalized. This presentation uses Instanced Skinned Characters and Particles as concrete examples of Graphics Pipeline improvement.
