gDEBugger 2.3 OpenGL Function Calls Stats


gDEBugger has a new counter that shows how many times each OpenGL function call was executed in the previous frame and how expensive it was compared to the sum of all function calls. Look at the version 2.3 change log for a list of new features.


NVIDIA GoForce 5500

At the recent 3GSM World Congress 2006, NVIDIA's Embedded DevRel team proudly showcased the newest member of the GoForce family of handheld GPUs, the NVIDIA GoForce 5500. Also, Motorola's RAZR V3x with the GoForce 4800 handheld GPU won the coveted “Best 3GSM Handset 2006” award.

NVIDIA Gelato® 2.0 Now Available


Gelato 2.0 with Sorbetto re-lighting technology is now available for sale. Gelato is NVIDIA's hardware-accelerated, final-frame renderer for film, television, and design. Among the new features in 2.0:

• Sorbetto™ interactive relighting technology
• Volume shadow maps
• Dynamic shadows
• Fast stereo rendering
• Improved Maya plug-in and image viewer tools

ForceWare drivers for Windows Vista February Customer Technology Preview (CTP) are now available to Registered Developers. If you are not a registered developer and wish to receive access to developer forums, prerelease tools and drivers, and bug reporting tools, please contact your NVIDIA developer relations account manager or submit an application.
