Did anyone succeed in downloading and installing the SDK? I tried
sh NVIDIA-OptiX-SDK-1.0.0-linux64.sh
but get the following:

gunzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Problem unpacking the NVIDIA-OptiX-SDK-1.0.0-linux64

i wrote a program to strip out the shell script at the start but the only file that gzip can parse out is:

-rw-r--r-- kmorley/gopher 892801 doc/OptiX_API_Reference_1.0.0.pdf

thanks!

Thanks for catching this - there was an error in the upload.

A fresh post will be available shortly for download.

We've re-uploaded to our FTP server by forcing binary. Let us know if it still doesn't work!

Give it another shot; I was just able to download both packages and extract them both successfully. Be sure that your browser is not caching the file, too.

yes that's the correct location. We will have somebody investigate this.

It looks like various internet caching mechanisms are causing some latent problems; the correct files are now up on the FTP but an intermediate cache may still have the old version. Try downloading the package with 'wget --no-cache' if you haven't been able to get the corrected version yet.
