Hi =)

I'm brand new here ^^ and at first I like it really well =)

I have just one question:
Is it just possible to descuss about nvidia tools or will come some other topics like
"OpenGL graphic programming" or "Special effects programming with nvidia devices"
or stuff like that..?

I'm really curious about it =)

Best regards

I am not a developer but I have some developer type questions.

I am wondering about what if any products you are working on or have currently available are best compatable with the new Intel Extreme processors or the quad cores that are coming out. And do you actually have a graphics card that you consider best for gaming that is in production at this time.

Is there an issue with 3d graphics ability or 64 bit processing? In other words are you going to have or do you currently have graphics card specifically made for these features?

Where do you see the graphics world going? What if anything is 64 bit processing going to do to change this world.

As I understand it there isn't much available beyond 32 bit at this time. Do you think it is worth investing in 64 capacity now or later?

Thanks for the consideration

Start here and work through some of the white papers on the main developer site -- try out the creation tools... the question that comes before "where to start?" is "where do you want to go?"

I would like to know of who to contact, what is the process (or if there is any process), or requirements (or permission) to officially use the NVidia logo for the purpose of:
- Used in a live presentation (part of a power point slide)
- Used in a Website
- Used on a splashscreen

I tried searching around, but couldn't find such a program other than for retail purposes (sellers, resellers, etc). The particular purpose of this request is for an online game system.

John , how would you define "maximum advantage"? Learn about PhysX coding? Marketing your game title? Optimizing your DirectX performance? You can find info on all of those and more....

Hi, I'm new to forum. However I was looking for some information about radiosity/global illumination support on Nvidia even though everyone claims raytracing is great but it's flat
and not that great. Is there any development by Nvidia on radiosity or any news? Thanks.

In the next few days expect to see both articles on realtime ambient occlusion AND raytracing to appear on the developer site....

I am NEW to nvidia website. I just recently discivered FX Composer and I am very excited about being able to create GLSL Shaders. Thank you so much for the great development resources!!!! What options are available for saving out shaders for use with external applications, such as Lightwave and Modo... please advise.

regards,
William

Hey Folks

I have a Question about Windows 7 x64 and the Latest Released Driver set??

Once I installed the Drivers set for the Windows 7 x64 version (GeForce 181.71), All my monitors appear to be working very well. But.
When I go to the control panel to set up the "nVidia Desktop Manager", it ain't there. I searched thru the sys32 folder and none of the file parts are there, but in the folder created during the install there is the nView.cab file. I opened it and all the files used for the Desktop manager are there.
Why were the not installed?? Are they not compatible with Windows 7 x64? If they are, How can I install them and use the Desktop Manager?

Any Ideas or help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Larry

whatever , there have a war between GPU and CPU~~~~

I am new to this and hope this is the right thread.

I have a HP Pavilion 6449us Ent. Laptop that has a NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller (I guess on the motherboard), Processor is an AMD Turion 64X2 Mobile TL56.

I used to be able to connect to the internet, but I am no longer able to.

Should I replace the motherboard (How do I know if it is bad?) or do I just need new drivers (Where would I download them?).

I am at my wits end. I guess if I need to pay $400.00 for a new board I will. Just wanted some new thoughts.

Thanks!

Can you suggest how to report that the "Developer Feedback" form at http://surveys.nvidia.com/collect.response is broken?

There doesn't seem to be any other way to report troubles with the developer site, other than through that form.

It lets me fill in my name, company, email and topic on the first page, and then click "Next", which takes me to the second page, but the second page has only "Back" and "Next" buttons, and the "Next" button doesn't do anything.

Thanks!

[added next day]

It's working now.
